Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: After going 1-5 in the first six meetings against the Tigers, Clarkson is 5-1 in the last two years versus RIT, including a 3-1 mark that saw the Knights win twice during the Liberty League Tournament. Last season, the Knights won a close game (3-2) and a lopsided contest (11-1).

Key Stats for Clarkson (20-12, 4-4 Liberty League): Two single-season offensive standards have fallen for Clarkson already this year, including hits (47, Raeanna Dunn) and doubles (11, Michele Winn), while new marks for steals, total bases, runs batted in and runs scored are within grasp this weekend. The team's collective 2.65 earned run average ranks second in the league and the pitching staff is striking out seven hitters for every batter it walks, allowing the fewest in the league. One other undervalued stat that the Knights lead in is runners thrown out on the base paths. Clarkson's catching tandem of Michele Winn and Maddie Brink has eliminated 13 would-be base stealers and the other seven teams in the conference have combined to throw out 25.

Key Stats for RIT (8-16, 1-5 Liberty League): The Tigers are hitting .293/.368/.371 as a team, but two of their three .400 hitters haven't been able to play enough to qualify for the league batting title due to insufficient plate appearances. Sarah Thayer (.481) and Jennifer Vickery (.429) are both below 40 plate appearances this year, leaving Raquel Estrada as the team's top hitter with a slash line of .407/.492/.537. Former Liberty League Rookie of the Year Erin Guinan is also posting solid numbers at .333/.417/.460. Torie Adler is the team's most frequently used pitcher, allowing opponents just a .244 batting average but allowing 48 walks in 73 innings pitched.
