Enough snow has melted for the Clarkson University Softball team to continue its schedule without a break as the team will play four games midweek against Oswego State and St. John Fisher.

Live Stats/Live Video vs. Oswego State
Live Stats vs. St. John Fisher

The Series vs. Oswego State: Clarkson's lone game against the Lakers occurred during the 2015 season when the Golden Knights picked up a 12-2 win in Florida.

The Series vs. St. John Fisher: The Cardinals swept a two-game series from the Knights in 2017, winning 2-1 and 8-0.

Key Stats for Clarkson (11-5): Graduate student Raeanna Dunn is showing zero rust after missing all of last season due to injury. Named Liberty League Performer of the Week for the last two weeks in a row, Dunn is hitting .509/.585/.618 through 16 games so far, ranking first in the conference in both batting average and on-base percentage while placing fourth in the conference in slugging. She also leads the league in hits (28), runs (15), doubles (6), and total bases (34) while ranking second in steals (8) and sixth in runs batted in (12). Clarkson's offense is humming along with team percentages of .322/.377/.450 with eight home runs. Liz Caggiano (.383/.466/.574) has seven extra-base hits and 17 runs batted in while Michele Winn (.321/.351/.585) has eight extra-base hits, including three home runs, with 17 runs batted in. Rylee LeBourveau is also hitting .357 with 13 runs scored, doing so from the bottom of the Knights' lineup. Clarkson's trio of pitcher is also posting solid numbers thus far with a 2.76 earned run average and only 15 walks allowed in 109 innings. Senior Sam Mennig's numbers in the control department are otherworldly, as she has struck out 26 hitters in 37 innings with just one walk.

Key Stats for Oswego State (2-8): The Lakers are propelled by two big bats with Emily Knowlden hitting a robust .533/.576/,667 and Erin Sweeney batting .367/.472/.367. The team, however, is posting just a .276/.355/.319 line, and without Knowlden owns an OPS of just .599 (.241/.327/.272). Oswego's pitching is allowing more than two baserunners per inning with a 1.93 WHIP which doesn't include 10 hit batsmen. Brianna Harrington leads the team with a 2.62 earned run average in 18.2 innings and Rebecca Vilchez has a 4.32 earned run average of 24.1 innings of work.

Key Stats for St. John Fisher (5-6): Unquestionably, the Cardinals are not the same team without four-time All-American pitcher Lindsay Thayer, Division III's all-time strikeout leader (1,540 in 889.1 innings), but the team still has some bats with which to contend. Mary Claire Grosvenor is hitting .385/.385/.577 and Ashley Prince is putting up a slash line of .324/.342/.459. Those two are typical of the Cardinals hitting, as St. John Fisher doesn't reach base a lot without getting a hit. In 76 innings, the Cardinals have drawn just 15 walks and been hit once for a .293 on-base percentage. The big bat to avoid in the lineup is Sarah Kubik, who is hitting just .233 with a .294 on-base percentage, but with three home runs and a .567 slugging percentage.
