Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The all-time match up dates back a century, but the two teams have exchanged sweeps over the last four seasons. Clarkson won both games in 2015-16 and 2017-18 and the Saints swept the series in 2016-17 and last season.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-5, 0-2 Liberty League): The Golden Knights' style of play dictates that their opponents will take more free throws, but Clarkson is already operating at a deficit of 52 free throws in just seven games, having committed 21 more fouls. Clarkson has made twice as many 3-point field goals as its opponents, and sophomore Chris Hulbert is tied for the league-lead in long-range shots made with 24. He leads the Green and Gold in scoring at 16.1 points per game and has reached double figures in five of seven games this year. Classmate Reese Swedberg ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage at 60.6% from the floor and is posting 13.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest, including 3.4 offensive boards per game which is the most in the league. Matt Higgins is a third member of the team averaging double figures, scoring 11.4 points per game, and he is closing in on the 1000-point plateau.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (1-5, 0-2 Liberty League): The Saints rank third in the conference in scoring average at 77.7 points per game, but St. Lawrence allows a league-worst 90.0 points per contest. The Saints are also operating at a deficit of 9.4 rebounds per game and 3.0 turnovers per contest. Luke Hicks leads the team in scoring at 16.7 points per game and is shooting 52.4% from beyond the 3-point arc. He is also chipping in 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Last season, Hicks was held scoreless in SLU's first win over the Knights, but he broke out with 24 points in the February rematch between the two teams. Three other players are averaging double figures for the Saints with Andrew Geschickter (12.2 ppg), Brandon Arnold (11.3 ppg) and Trent Adamson (11.2 ppg) each eclipsing the 10 points per game mark. Adamson is also contributing 6.5 rebounds per game.
