For the first time since 1993, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team is unbeaten in its first three conference games and the Golden Knights will look to continue that run when they take on Hobart College on Saturday afternoon at Hantz Field.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: Clarkson holds the edge in the all-time matchup, winning 34 times with six ties in 65 meetings. However, the Knights' last win came during the 2011 season and Hobart is unbeaten (2-0-1) against the current senior class of Clarkson players, though two of the contests went to overtime. The Knights lost on a ninth-minute goal last year, but outshot Hobart 14-10.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-3-1, 2-0-1): The last time Clarkson was unbeaten in its first three conference games came 26 seasons ago, as that group of Golden Knights made it all the way to the Final Four in the NCAA Division III Tournament. A key part of the Knights' strong start in the Liberty League this year is Ian Roeloffs. The senior goalkeeper has three shutouts in 2019 with a 1.05 goals against average and a .786 save percentage. Those numbers get much better when considering Roeloffs last five starts. In the past 425 minutes between the posts, Roeloffs has allowed just a single goal and stopped 19 shots for a .950 save percentage and a 0.21 goals against average.

Key Stats for Hobart (8-3-0, 2-1-0): The Statesmen are getting some fine play in the frame from their senior goalkeeper Brian Salazar. After playing a total of 103 minutes, 42 seconds in his first three years at Hobart, Salazar has made the most of his chance as a senior, posting a 0.72 goals against average and a .879 save percentage and playing close to 1000 minutes in goal already (999:14). Three players are vying for the team lead in scoring as Nate Cary (3-1-7) and Pete Critchlow (2-3-7) are currently tied for the top spot, closely followed by Division II transfer Liam Born (3-0-6).
