Back on the winning track after a victory against Plattsburgh State on Tuesday, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team returns to Liberty League action this weekend as the Golden Knights take on Ithaca College on Saturday afternoon.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights have just one win 20 all-time meetings against the Bombers, but that lone victory was just two years ago when Clarkson came away with a 2-1 victory in Ithaca. Last season the Bombers claimed a 3-0 win at Hantz Field.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-3-1, 1-2-0 Liberty League): For the sixth time in team history, the Golden Knights have won eight games in a season, but only once have the Green and Gold picked up a ninth victory, a challenge that Clarkson will look to achieve, and more, down the stretch. Some all-time performances have helped the Knights move to that level this year. Senior Giulia Mahoney scored her fourth goal of the season on Tuesday to move into 11th-place all-time on Clarkson's scoring list giving her 11 points for the year (4-3-11) and 34 for her career (12-10-34). Classmate Camryn Careccia assisted on that goal and ranks second on the team in scoring behind Mahoney (4-2-10). Careccia is now tied for eighth on the program's all-time scoring chart with 16 goals and six assists for 38 points. Careccia recorded the game-tying goal in Clarkson's 2-1 win against Ithaca in 2017.

Key Stats for Ithaca (6-4-1, 1-2-0 Liberty League): Last year, Alex Epifani scored a goal and added an assist in the Bombers' 3-0 win over Clarkson, and she is leading the team in scoring this season with 14 points on five goals and four assists. Megan O'Reilly (4-0-8) and Delaney Rutan (3-2-8) are tied for second in scoring while Gabriella Mihale (3-0-6)  and Ally Christman (1-4-6) are just behind. However, among those team leaders, only Christman has scored in conference play thus far with a goal and an assist. Sara Jakobsze is performing well in the Ithaca frame, stopping 82.6% of the shots on goal with a 0.71 goals against average.
