Live Stats/Live Video/Live Audio

The Series: Clarkson holds a narrow advantage against Oswego State in the all-time series, with records dating back to the 1930s, with a 17-15 lead in 32 all-time matchups. Oswego is on a three-game winning streak, however, including a 16-point win in Potsdam last year.

Key Stats for Clarkson (0-3): While the Golden Knights showed plenty of promise from the 3-point arc in the season-opener, Clarkson has struggled in its last two outings. Overall, Clarkson is shooting 27.1% from beyond the 3-point arc, and that number is bolstered by a strong start from senior Matthew Hornak, who is 11-for-27 (40.7%) from the line. The opposition is taking advantage of some breaks the other way, shooting 50.7% from the floor in three contests with a plus-10 margin on rebounds. Senior Liam Ellis is shooting 57.7% from the field in the early going, averaging 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game, while Hornak is also in double digits at 11.3 points per game. Sophomore Roburt Welch scored 14 points in 14 minutes last year against the Lakers.

Key Stats for Oswego State (2-0): Though some of the top scorers from last year's Lakers team are gone, Oswego has reloaded with help from veterans and newcomers. Junior Brandon Gartland, who averaged 8.8 points per game last year, is scoring at a 21.5 points per contest clip in the early going, shooting a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line and 8-for-13 (61.5%) from the 3-point arc. Freshman Julien Crittendon is also kicking in 12 points per game while three others are averaging double figures (Quinn Carey, 11.5 ppg; Tyler Pierre, 11.0 ppg with a 76.9% field goal percentage; Joe Sullivan 11.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game). Sophomore Liam Sanborn is finding his teammates with regularity with 17 assists in just two games.
