CU Women's Soccer Preview - at Ithaca College (9/23)

More than a decade has passed since the last time the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team took on Ithaca College, but the two squads will open up against one another in Liberty League play this weekend.

LIVE STATS/LIVE VIDEO

The Series:  Ithaca has never lost to Clarkson, beating the Golden Knights in all 18 tries from 1989-2006. Only three of those games were decided by one goal. However, all current members of the two teams were still in elementary school during the last meeting (2006).

Key Stats for Clarkson: Sophomore Camryn Careccia has been very efficient this season, scoring five goals on only 12 shots (nine on goal). Her five tallies rank her second in the Liberty League while her 10 total points place her third in the conference.

Key Stats for Ithaca: The Bombers' offense was uplifted considerably by an 8-0 win over Wells College last Saturday. In the previous five games, Ithaca had scored a total of three goals. Shoshana Bedrosian was the biggest beneficiary of the Wells game, scoring four times. Entering the game she had just one assist.
