Clarkson Reaches Double Digits in Wins After 16-6 Victory at Bard

Clarkson Women's Lacrosse closes out the season with a 16-6 victory at Bard on Saturday to reach double digits in wins for the second straight year and for only the third time in program history.

The Golden Knights, who snapped a six-game slide with the Liberty League win over Bard, finished with a 10-7 overall record and a 3-6 conference mark.

Nine players scored goals in the win over the Raptors, highlight by senior Ashley Flick's four-goal, two-assist outing in her final collegiate game.

The Knights opened the game with the first seven goals and held a 12-2 lead at the break. 

Clarkson doubled up Bard in shots 30-15 and held a slight edge in ground balls 19-18.

Freshman Abby Collins tallied five points on three goals and two assists, while senior Kate Dillon had a four-point outing with one goal and three assists.

Senior Christine Pollard and freshman Katie Sergeant recorded two goals and one assist apiece.

Junior Taylor Collins and sophomore Jaid Baytos, and freshmen Aubrey Borgesi and Lexi Smith all scored one goal each to round out the offensive contributions.

Sophomores Samantha Gladd and Carrie Yurkon combined for the win with two saves each in the Clarkson crease.
