Knights & Saints Face off In Women's Hockey North Country Series

After almost two weeks off Clarkson returns to action this week with a home-and-home series with archrival St. Lawrence. Ranked 4th in the national polls, the Golden Knights host the 8th-rated Saints at Cheel Arena in a rare Thursday night affair at 7:00 p.m. and then travel down Route 11 to take on their North Country neighbor at Appleton Arena in Canton on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Clarkson, which last played on November 18, owns a 12-3-1 overall record and is tied for fourth place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 4-2 league mark. Defending conference champions, the Green and Gold are just two points out of the top spot.  All three of Clarkson's losses this season have been one-goal setbacks, including two in overtime. Clarkson, which begins a four-game road trip with Saturday's tilt at St. Lawrence, will play its next game in Potsdam on January 12.

In its last action, Clarkson posted its seventh shutout of the season with a 4-0 blanking of Princeton at Cheel on November 18.
