With two games left in the season, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team has a chance to leave a few marks on the school record books. The Golden Knights will complete the road portion of their schedule this weekend when they travel to play Skidmore.

Clarkson is 5-9-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the Liberty League in head coach Kelsey Yam's debut season. After a 4-1 win over SUNY Canton on Tuesday, Yam is now tied for third in wins in a debut season. With one more win, she will pass current assistant athletic director Laurel Kane who notched five victories in the 2001 season, and will trail Christine Scuderi and Sarah Raymond who had eight wins in 1999 and 2011.

Also continuing her steady rise up the record books is Lauren Flynn. With two goals and an assist against the Kangaroos, Flynn now has 10 goals and two assists for 22 points on the season. The 10 goals tie her for second on the Clarkson single-season leaderboard while she is tied for fourth in points. Flynn has 21 career goals, becoming just the second Clarkson player to reach 20 career scores. She is now second all-time in career points with 27. Finally, her 38 combined points in the 2015 and 2016 seasons trails just Shannon McCain's 44 points in the 1994 and 1995 seasons for the most in consecutive seasons.

Skidmore has a 5-6-1 overall record and is 1-4-1 in conference. The Thoroughbreds are riding a two game winning streak, including a 2-1 win at Bard for their first conference win. Emily Saliterman leads the team with six goals. Clarkson has an all-time record of 1-19-2 against the Thoroughbreds. Clarkson has lost three in a row against Skidmore after a 0-0 draw in 2012.

The two teams will kickoff at 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon.
