NAZARETH SENDS KNIGHTS TO SECOND STRAIGHT LOSS

Rochester, NY - Ismael Mohammad (Rochester, NY) scored a second half goal to tie the game between the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team and Nazareth, but the Golden Flyers scored three straight goals to end the game and send Clarkson to a 4-1 loss Wednesday afternoon.

The Golden Knights dropped to 3-7 overall while Nazareth improved to 4-4. Clarkson returns to Liberty League action on Saturday when they host St. Lawrence University.

Gavin Thomas started the scoring for Nazareth with a goal late in the first half. Mohammad tied the game for the Golden Knights at the 58:28 mark in the second half when he chipped in a shot over the goalkeeper's head. Thomas scored two goals in less than a minute just a few moments later and Ed Babcock put up the final tally for the Golden Flyers.

Greg Dunton (Honeoye Falls, NY) made four saves for the Golden Knights while Alex Kilroy stopped two shots for Nazareth. Clarkson had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks but was out shot 13-9.
