One of the more recent additions to the Clarkson campus, the Hantz Field project concluded in the fall of 2009, turning a grass field near the river into a turf facility to serve as the home of the Golden Knights for both of the soccer programs in the fall and both of the lacrosse programs in the spring. Fully marked for several sports and also used for camps, clinics and other programs looking to utilize the plowed surface in the winter months, the field is also equipped with lights, giving student-athletes to play in the evening in front of boisterous fans.
